Éicea - Gaelic Face
This typeface is a genuine effort to reconcile Irish typographic past, present and future with the idea of a modern, eco-conscious Irish identity.
Many narratives today, whether you see it on twitter or the front page of the Times, seem to lack nuance - or perhaps we have lost the ability to see nuance in how the world works. I’ve always been interested in the idea of meta-narratives one must read between the lines to see, in order to truly understand a phenomenon. I built the typeface so that the elements can exist separately too.

It is a book exploring meta narratives, current political and philosophical issues, through the medium of typography.
